Christmas Morning

December 25th
Savannah actually didn't wake up until about 7:45 am, we thought she would wake up early since she went to bed early. She came in our room and said "Merry Christmas Mom and Dad" So sweet! She ran in the front room and the look on her face was so cute, she couldn't believe it was finally the morning that Santa actually came! Kids make Christmas so much more fun. She got everything on her list except I think Santa must have ran out of real cats because he brought her a Fur Real one instead. She was ok with that. Much easier to take care of!!! After all the Santa stuff was done my parents and the rest of my family came up for some Christmas breakfast. It was a great morning!!

Here is her guitar, she has really been wanting a real one and wants to take lessons, so I think after the first of the year she will start lessons! She can't wait. She wants to sing and play the guitar!

Christmas Eve 2010

December 24th 2010
This year on Christmas Eve we went over to my moms for the afternoon. Savannah decorated cookies for Santa and opened a few presents from her aunt and uncle (Shelly and Darin). Savannah and Gavyn watched Frosty multiple times because Gavyn is obsessed with Frosty and Rudolph and so he got to choose what to watch. I worked Christmas Eve and Ryan had Savannah to sleep by 8:00pm, I know I was shocked because when I left for work she was pretty hyper and excited for Santa to come.

These two old men played a little too much racket ball!!

Christmas with Grandma Nellie

Growing up my grandma Nellie would get all the cousins PJ's for Christmas and we got to open them up on Christmas eve. It was something i looked forward to every year. Now she gets all of our kids the same thing. This year she wanted to watch all of the kids open their pj's so we all went over to her house so she could see all the kids. Carolee made her delicious homemade sugar cookies and gave all the kids a little goodie stocking to take home. It was a little crazy at grandmas little house but it was so fun. Kids make Christmas so magical and fun. Grandma Nellie will be 90 years old on her next birthday, and I feel so lucky to have her here and for her to be able to spend time with all of our kids! Thanks Grandma Nellie we love you!

A little Christmas Baking

Savannah loves cooking and baking so after we made all of our goodies for our friends and family at Jalee's house, Savannah wanted to go home and bake some goodies for herself. These are pretzels with rolos and m&m's and they are to die for and super easy for kids to make!

Tavaci Christmas Concert

December 15th 2010
Savannah started Tavaci (the school of performing arts) this year. She has really enjoyed it, she loves to sing and perform so it is right up her ally! Here are a few pictures from their Christmas concert. They all learned so many Christmas songs, and not just the traditional ones, there was lots of new songs and they all had actions. They all did really well.

Gingerbread House Party

December 4th 2010
So I had a gingerbread house party last year and it was so much fun, so i decided to have another one and I think it is going to have to be a tradition now! This year since our garage is heated i decided to have it in there and it worked out so much better! Last year i was cleaning up sprinkles for months. All of the kids had a great time and are all so creative. Here are a few pictures from the party.

This house is Savannah's

Holly Days November 26th 2010

We went down to the Holly Days this year, and it was FREEZING!! We walked around and had hot chocolate and the kids rode ponies and we stood in line seriously forever to ride the camel and the ride lasted about 30 seconds!! But now savannah can say she has ridden a camel! We had a great time, there were bon fires all over to help stay warm and then we watched the Christmas parade. Here are a few pictures before the camera died!

Happy Halloween 2010

Halloween Night!
This year for Halloween Savannah wanted to be Daphne from scooby doo. She has wanted to be her since last Halloween and never changed her mind. She is a little scooby doo junky! We kind of had to make up our own costume but it turned out pretty cute and she loved it! She went trunk or treating with a neighbor girl by my moms and then my mom had a little Halloween party for family and friends. It was fun to see everyone. Hope Everyone had a fun Halloween.
